Makes you wonder who sets the prices for all the promo games and rare stuff in japanese shops.
They can get away with any prices because of the low print numbers of some titles. (I imagine anyway.)
It could be like some stuff that was sitting on shop shelves for eons is getting discounted to hell.

What some of the rare Famicom cartridges go for make Neo Geo cartridges look like PAL Playstation games... I saw a rare prize version of Gradius going for 150,000 Yen and another FC game going for 350,000 Yen... Which is probably the value of some peoples collections...Comment

Archimendes gradius is the gradius game your talking about I think, the powerups are replaced with ramen baskets. (Has it got a red/orange sticker on the front top right corner of the box?)
Is 150k for a minter with the small promo leaflet?
I know someone who paid over 150k for an average conditioned one without that leaflet, he thought he got a steal at the time.
He later seen it sell on yahoo a few times for well under 100k, one of them was quite recent too.
Does that 350k famicom game look like a road cycle/bike game?
It's some promo game or something, cant remember the exact specifics of the game though.
Have you seen the gold mike tyson cart on your travels?
Talking of gold stuff, have you seen pc engine gold baseball Hucard anywhere at all?
