    A bit too late for that... I got two 160Gb Maxtor SATA's now!
    Still can't partition them though!

      Thats true, though SATA setups are more configurable, and for more than one drive offer better performance than ATA. So for a RAID setup SATA is ideal.

      Also... the cables are that much easier to arrange, meaning your PCs internal airflow and cooling will improve.
