2 Xbox live questions

I`ve hunted hi and low but can`t find the answer, so........

I`ve just been given a D-Link DSL 300G+ Ethernet modem (thingy)
And have been advised that Gio internet is a good value BB conection.
Is it gonna work for Live ok?
Any help and advice would be nice as I`ve not yet got my BB provider set up yet, and it`s all a shot in the dark for me

Check that that it supports PPPOverATM and you'll be fine.
