Karaoke mic needed

So there I was about to buy a little karaoke machine when out pops Karaoke Revolution for PS2.

Only trouble is it only supports crappy usb mics. Are there any decent usb mics available? And I mean ones that actually look like mics and not as though you are working in a telesales sweatshop.

Failing that any chance of hooking up an XLR mic??

hmm..... seems a bit niche for even this site.

Surely tho, there must be a way to cannibalise one of the official USB mics, and strap it to an SM58 or similar.

There should be an official Konami Mic for the Japanese market which is a normal mic with a USB port. They do cost a bit though.
