Cheapo PS2 Mod: Help My Import PSOne Games Work!

God dammit. I got my PS2 'modded' (they stuck a case on the top with a flip top lid) and with Swap Magic 3. First things I bought were Chrono Cross and Xenogears. Guess what? They won't fuddy work as they are PSOne games. Anyway round this on my PS2, or will I need to find a chipped PSOne?

Note: PSOne doesn't neccesarily mean the funky little one.

I think you need to get your PS2 chipped, my chipped PS2 (Messiah 2) works fine with PS1 backups and PS1 imports (my PS2 is a Japanese one).

Get Will to chip it, as PS2s aren't the easiest things to mod.

You should have paid extra for a Messiah or DMS3 chip. They'll play everything, don't require messing about with a boot disk and don't make your PS2 look stupid.
