the best AV CABLE in uk?

just wanna consult you tv signal experts:
i bought an official scart PS2 cable yesterday( EURO-AV CABLE[SCPH-10142]) ft:


the question is: does it display a graphic equivalent to an RGB cable?
it is quite expensive though(40 quid), probably the best ps2 cable we can get in UK!?
i wander if it's well worth it....if it's not as good as RGB, i would refund it..

Gives a perfectly good RGB image, there's not much to complain about with this one.

Or you can go high end with a cable from Ixos - they do an RGB cable for ?45 or so. http://www.ixos.co.uk/interconnects/index2.html

Make sure you always look for an RGB SCART cable - EURO AV mostly means composite signal through SCART.

It's a superb quality cable but bear in mind that a standard RGB cable like that Blaze one still give a very good image far superior to composite.

I'd return the original and buy the Blaze RGB cable - and use the difference on a game! That Blaze cable is very good man!

You are paying for materials - the functions of both cables are the same but what they are made from are totally different.

If you are well into your home entertainment and getting the very best cables for display on a very high end TV, I can see why the Ixos cable would be needed - but if you are just looking to get an RGB image for gaming the Blaze cable will be perfectly fine.

Why do you want a PS2 cable with Digital Out? Is the one on your PS2 knackered? I doubt anyone would make a cable with Digital Out as nearly everyone would have a functioning digital out on their PS2...

I used the Blaze cable for a few months. For a tenner its superb and 10/10 for value-for-money. I only upgraded to the IXOS because i bought a new TV and i wanted the best cable available.

If your unsure at all just get the Blaze and i promise you won't be disappointed.
