GP32 Playing problems

Ive received my GP32 through the post and been trying to get the thing to play for hours! Ive searche deverywher but cant get an explanation. Im new to this...

Ive got the GP32 up and running, connected it to my laptop and downloaded the programs and installed them (Doom, emulators etc.) there all on my SMC except for one file and I think thats why my GP32 dosent seem to be able to find any files.

It's the GP launcher which I downloaded and it's filename is: gp_launc.zpk which I downloaded off their offical web site. It's this file I cant seem to download to the GP32 or do anything with and I think thats the programe that will recoginise all the files Ive put tho the SMC.

If anyone can help it would be much appriciated.

Have you authenticated your GP32 with the website and gotten the Linker software you can download (whist connecting your GP32 to the USB port) working?

Yeah, I downloaded the software but it's just that 1 file I cant find a place for.

Okay, you've got the GP32 connected to your PC (with the memory card in) and you're running the Linker software. Have you been using that to transfer the files over to the GP32 from your PC? I believe for the file you're puzzling over, you don't do transfer, I think you need to use the "install" option available instead. It's so damn long since I did this myself and I've forgotten my GP32 username/password so I can't go back and check out.
