I'm sure I've read somewhere that a pal Prime wont work with an NTSC machine using freeloader. Is this correct?

man this freeloader is a pile of ****e! why not include a code system like the old psxchanger disc for the psone? that way games that were protected could be given a code and hey presto!
I don't know why they did not in the end. Oh well... Everything works fine for me... But I have an NTSC copy and PAL console - *Score one for the PAL gamers*

Pal purists confuse me.
Especially those that know the benefits of importing.
Yet are too afraid to admit it's better.

I don't see much point in a PAL version either. What you said are obviously benefits, but for me the Freeloader works with enough PAL games to satisfy the odd rental. The fact that some PAL games don't work isn't really relevant to me, considering all the advantages, such as the cheaper prices and correct release dates.

So far I've bought two titles for 20 quid apiece that I would probably have had to spend considerably more on to import.
