Pathetic but quick NT server question

What Group do I add to a user to allow them local administrator rights? (i.e. Admin rights on the workstation they use but nowhere else)

    #2
    Administrators.

edit:: only on the local machine, not the domain controller.

I think you'd have to set permissions like that locally seeing as it's user/ workstation specific.

Set up the user's profile on that particular machine with only their login set at administrator level (as well as your own, natch).

      I think

Been a while since I played with user manager

EDIT, Thanks Boog, beat me to it

I knew I could do that, I was hoping for the "Sitting at my desk, logged onto the server" option. Bah Humbug!

          WTF?

You mean you HAVENT got VNC clients installed on your desktop PC's?

Madness, I worked out i can spend precisely 58.465% MORE of the day sat on my ass via the gift of TightVNC

VNC too slow, if it's just a Windows environment, Timbuktu Pro pisses all over VNC.

If you have installed MMC onto the Windows NT client you can do it manually
