Upto date opinions on logic 3 metal dance mat?

I was looking around for this and found this:

Seems cheap but is it any good, anyone had any experience of use or any other reccomendations for metal pads?

Gameplay actually have it cheaper than logic 3 do themselves:

by 20 pounds a mat, and there is no delivery charge either so thats an addtional 15 pound savings.

By all accounts the version two mats (the ones that do not light up) are ok, I'm just debating on ordering a pair myself as my second set of soft mats are becoming a bit worse for wear.

The first version, which did light up (just like the arcade, when you stepped onto an arrow) was prone to breaking. The second "new improved" version doesn't do that, apparently.
