    I'm about to order from play asia and wondered about import tax. i want to spend about ?40 - what can i expect to be hit with?

    Search the board for lots of info on this.

    As long as you ask them to mark it down and choose any shipping method other than UPS, then you should be ok. Can't be guaranteed obviously, but you'll likely be ok.
