ps2 shadow hearts - bordervision?

okay, so i'm after a big rpg to tide me over 'til i muster the energy to arse about selling/rebuying or trading my v9 (gah!) ps2 for a nice shiny premod one, so i can get ffx-2. i'm still holding out vague hopes for 60hz-ness or a proper conversion, but i can't see it happening.

so, yeah, <i>shadow hearts</i> is cheap these days, and apparently pretty good, and i really like the sound of the plot. unfortunately, i've hit my usual ps2-game-excitement speedbump, which is the whole 60hz or proper conversion thing. so, before i go and spend money i should really be saving anyway, can anyone tell me if the PAL version is bordered and crappy, or full-screen and full-speed? and if it's presented in bordervision, would anyone care to point me at a good alternative? thankyou!

no 60hz and 50hz is bordered but not to Squaresoft levels. If it's cheap, you wouldn't be disappointed probably

Wild Arms 3 suprisingly has a 60 HZ mode. It's also cheap. Don't know if it's any good though.

thanks, guys. i gave in and got it for seven quid from ebay - for ?7, i really can't complain about the conversion job whatever it's like...
