FFX-2 International

It's out soon and I want it badly. Is it like FFX International in that the voices are all English and the text can be set to English?

From general murmurs, it looks like it's another Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix situation. Where we have the USA voice talent, mixed with JPN text/ subtitles.

The 'Last Mission' as far as i know is totally in Japanese.

Not too sure whether the PAL version will be the 'International' version, or the game the USA got. You can enjoy it in 50hz only though

I'll be chuffed if i'm proved wrong, and FF X-2 does have an english language select. Not too long to find out now...

So does this mean that all the menus and commands ect will be in Japanese, also I don't understant why international versions of games are released.

PAL version is essentially the USA version, unlike FFX. I can tease my PAL owning friends with the psychicer and festivalgoer dresspheres

I really hope an English translation of X-2 International + Last Mission is sorted out.

Final Fantasy X-2 has surprised me immensely. Whilst I am a fan of Final Fantasy games the last 2 'traditional' games in the series (9 and 10) whilst fun to play never gripped me in the way 7 and 8 did which I urged to replay over and over. However, in those cases I never felt a desire to 100% the titles as it were.

With X-2 this is all different. maybe it's the new mission based structure, the brilliant dress sphere system or the promise of multiple endings but I immediately restarted the game upon completion and wanted to see more of the game that I missed (my completion rate on original play was a lowly 52%). With potentially another massive amount being added to this version, I am going to be disappointed that I never get to experience it.

My Tiny Bee's + FFX International shipped at 3am! Just wish I had enough hands to use the guns - they will look nice nonetheless!

Pretty much official now:

English voice overs & JPN text only.

No option to select English text.

Last Mission is fully Japanese VO/ text.

Apparently you can fight against Tidus, Auron et al in the Bestiary bit.

Forgive me for being ignorant, but Does FF 7,8,9 International have English Text?? I missed out on 7 and sold the other 2 but i'm going Japan on the 28th and want to pick these up.
