GC to PC adapter

[Supergoal]

Today I bought a pad converter called "Smart Joypad 3Q" for 20 quid from a big electronic retailer, but I have a problem..

When I install the driver disc and then plug in the GC pad to the PC all seems fine, untill I play a game with it! It keeps hitting the buttons by its self and "twitching" so to put it effectively making the controller totally useless.....help

Have you tried calibrating it? That happens an awful with my joystick (and yes, I know you are talking about a pad).

I went to the property screen and it twitches badly on the calibration screen by its self , I don't know what to do!?!?!

One option would be to take it back and order a "Joybox 13" from ConsolePlus - I'm happy with mine running on Windows XP.

You could try ignoring the driver and just plugging it in to see if it works. Especially if the thing's USB.

Is the GC pad pushed all the way in? Just a thought.

Yeah I checked eveything over and it seemed fine, I tried it on 2 different PCs to boot but never worked on neither

I've got (had..I binned it) one of those made by SkillZ. It suffers from the creeping you mention on the left analogue stick, making it useless.

On a brighter note I now use a PLAY.COM PS2 adaptor wich works a treat, even with PJ64!
Get one of those instead.

Come to think of it, you are welcome to try the SkillZ one on you PC/O you might be lucky. PM me if you want it.

Just as a side note, do any of you know of any N64-XBox converters I could use? I want to use my N64 Pad with my XB and I had a look around Lik-Sang but found nothing I wanted!
