Question marks on beginners mode on IIDX 6TH Style?????

I've just bought a IIDX Controller and IIDX 6th style for my jpn ps2. When i go into beginners mode, i cannot select some of the songs because they are not song titles just question marks.

Any idea why it is doing this, is it normal???

Also anybody got a link to a menu translation for 6th style???

Yeah thats normal.

The reason some songs can't be played is because you have to unlock them first.

The easy way to do this is get a top score on Arcade Light 7 key or 7 key then enter the name 2DX6 or something (thats not right its on gamefaqs). Then viola all the songs and unlockables are available. I have not used this cheat although i can verify it works, there are some other stupid parts to it like you must watch all the credits etc....

The other way to do it (the proper way) is to achieve a 573 combo on any songs on any mode 5 key included. This unlocks all the songs (not all the images / videos though).
