I have an oldish PAL DC that will load up, but wont boot any games.
It just hangs at the menu screen, and says it doesnt recognise the discs.
I did drop it sadly, well a "relative" dropped.
Anyway, I bought a new DC, but would like to get the old one up and running again.
Living in france, I can buy shampagne for 50p a bottle, but sadly a second hand DC in crappy condition costs around 40 euro. Wrong priorities, or just not enough DC's to go around, you decide.
Anyway, I dont have enough cash for another one.
But Id really like the little guy to work again. Reckon I might make this my dedicated NES emu system, whilst using my other for proper games.
I did use it alot for emus before, so perhaps I wore the lense out?
Do I need to clean the connector pins?
Or is my drive out of alignment?
Is it easy enough for anyone to reallign or fix the drive, or would I need a new one?
Thanks for any help, much appreciated

EDIT:
I did a search, but only found in depth info for a resseting DC problem. Just in case anyone thinks Im clogging up the boards.
