Xbox FTP problem

I'm trying to load some gear from my PC onto my Xbox, but whenever I try and open up a folder it says the following

Unable to parse 257 "/F/Games/" is current directory
PORT 192,168,0,1,6,16
502 pasv is not implemented.
Port failed 502 pasv is not implemented.

Any ideas?

What FTP prog you using?

I had that problem when I was using WS_FTP. Apparently the passive mode is not well implemented.

So I sacked it off and now use FlashFXP instead and everything's cool

It means that the pasv function (which WS_FTP and other progs use, I think CuteFTP uses it too) isn't implemented on Evox's FTP server app. Just use FlashFXP or even SmartFTP to fix it.

If that doesnt work, I'm sure there's another FTP server you can use instead of the in-built one from Evox available from www.xbox-scene.com

Heh, okay, here's what you do

Go to www.flashfxp.com (if that's the site, or do a google search for flashfxp) and download it, and install it. Then connect to the Xbox on 192.168.0.1 and the same password, and it should work. Get back to us if it doesnt
