How to get RGB out of American SNES?

Hi chaps, does anyone know which lead is suitable for getting decent RGB out of a US SNES via SCART? I tried my standard RGB SCART that works fine for my PAL SNES and modded N64, but when I plug that into my US SNES it just gives a very white picture and everything's pastel coloured, which is pretty, but, you know, it's not right. Cheers.

you need to fit capacitors to each of the red green and blue signals. they are 100uF electrolytic I think, but its been 10 years since I did this myself... check on www.gamesx.com, they have some pinouts.

My SNES Scartlead came with them already fitted. Saur Sells them. I got it off him. They're purple, for use on GC I suppose.
