Ah sweet. I was looking at the Live! 5.1 digital for about 25 quid, but I think I'll go with that instead.

An Audigy is nice and cheap and will do the job fine, just make sure you ONLY install the basic driver package otherwise you'll end up with 200Mb of **** on your hard drive, about a dozen new programs launched at startup and a Creative Labs splash screen with annoying jingle that comes up every single goddamn time you turn your machine on.

Tell me about it! I installed all the crap on my old computer with my SoundBlaster 5.1 and it was a nightmare! This time I had pre downloaded the drivers so its all grovey this time. 8)
