Mysterious restart

I came home to find my PC was on the longon prompt and I know that it shouldn't have been - it should have been running but locked.

A quick check through the event logs and it the last entries were at around 13:45, a selection of desriptions in the log are as follows:

"The Terminal Services service entered the running state." (that was the last one)
"The Terminal Services service was successfully sent a start control."
"Application popup: : Machine Check: Regs"
"The Event log service was started."

All within 2 minutes of each other. My firewall was up and has no suspicious entries.

The entries regarding Terminal Services are rather concerning.

Anyone?

EDIT, I have not got "restart after system crash" enabled btw, so if anything like that had gone wrong it should have just BSOD'd.

I can only assume there was a momentary loss of power or something.

Nah mate I've seen it before. It's some issue with terminal services and the firewall. I never figured it out either it just went away.
If it continues I'll help you out with it.
