Thanks Geldra, but I already have R-type Delta. I'm talking about R-types

Leave Shienryu as the game is better for both the Saturn and the recently released double pack on the PS2.

        Definately get Gradius Gaiden.

See if you can get a PAL copy of Ray Crisis for the PS1,great game and lots of fun to play!

R-Types is absolutely essential, and can be picked up on the R's Best label for peanuts. Bearing in mind that R-Type is my second favourite game (Shinobi being my first).

Its not that bad,the PAL version is more or less full screen,if you don't like Ray Force and Ray Storm, then obviously it's not one for you.Only Night Raid on import(Takumi)is better in my oppinion.Or you could try Einhander, although NTSC only.

Don't like Einhander, but then again I don't really like horisontal shooters in general.

There are much better shooters out on the PSX than that awful Ray-series...

What sort of shooters do you like Naiera?
                        Any suggestions?

                          I like vertical shooters, obviously

There's not a whole dang lot to recommend on the PSX, really. Strikers 1945 II is really good, especially considering it can most likely be found for a single digit amount of pounds. The conversion is nice, but it can also be found in an NTSC version, of course. Then there's Night Raid and TFV, but I really mostly play shooters on the Saturn, DC and the PS2...

just download kawaks and look for some roms.

Other than that i totally recommend importing DoDonPachi Daioujou!
Gunbird 1+2 collection is out on the ps2 now and i would recommend that, mainly because ive played them before and their great.

Of course I forgot to mention Zanaz X Zanac which a lot of people like, and then of course there's the Mobile Light Force thingy, which is actually Gunbird with a lame cover and front screen. I have some US versions "in stock" that I'd love to sell some of you guys, but I doubt it would be attractive since I'm located in Denmark. Feel free to write me if you can't track down a PAL version, though...
