    Pansonic Q - Which cables?

Thanks to you being so helpful last time I posted, I've come back for more advice. Again, modded Panasonic Q that plays Region 2 DVDs and JAP games in default mode, and Region 1/US games when holding the power button down.

I have the Gamecube component cable, and I understand that this is the cable to use for games as the Q supports prog scan for games. I've heard that the best cable for DVDs is an S-Video cable. Is this correct? If so, where is the best place to purchase an S-Video cable from (either S-Video to S-Video or S-Video to SCART)? If not, what cables should I be using.

Also, I use the Freeloader in order to play my PAL games on the Q. Will there be a problem with the picture output for PAL games when using the component cable?

Component cable is fine for the games side of the Q, PAL games will display correctly (but dont support prog scan), S-Video is the best option you have for the DVD side. Depends how much you want to spend, you can pick up a standard S-Video cable from an electronics shop for ?5 or go for a high grade one from somewhere like www.ixos.co.uk or www.richersounds.co.uk for a lot more (?15-?20)

Thank you. Will most likely go with the high grade option - past experience dictates that cheap leads = more expense in the long run.
