Cex switched my saturn without cutting holes into the case (well, apart from the 50/60hz switch). They used a 0-9 selection component (buttons for up and down, Jap=0,US=1,Eur=6) and fitted it in just behind the cart slot on the motheboard. To reach it you just push open the cart flap and select your region.

still feels wrong to me I'm a purist at heart. Ideally I'd like 3 of all the consoles, to avoid modding/ boot disking, but not enough cash or space (sigh).

I wouldn't bother with a US machine personally - I have a UK machine and erm um 4 Japanese ones, all different versions of course
