Namco 5-in-1 Games Joystick

I have just discovered this new item from Namco. Available in the U.K, I found it at www.firebox.co.uk. Its ?24.95 and features 5 Namco classics, Pacman, Galaxian, Dig Dug, Rally-X and Bosconian.

Not exactly a must buy, it is a compelling little gadget all the same and I may just buy one, you never know it may become collectable.

Looks cool. I'd buy one, but the fire button is on the wrong side of the stick! I can't play any games with the the buttons on the left unfortunately!

Yeah, it is weird how the button is on the left. I have noticed a few Arcade Sticks have this problem. I can`t understand what makes manufacturers do this, it ruins the experience, probably destroys it actually.

Going off on a tangent here but the talk of the button being on the 'wrong' side has got me thinking. Surely having the button on the left and controlling the stick with the right hand is more natural for right handed folk?

I'm right handed, and it depends on the game I find. For multi-button stuff like Street Fighter, I prefer the buttons under my right hand, because it requires the dexterity. But for single button games, the dexterity is normally required more in the stick movements.
