    quick iBook question

    Im running OSX on my g4 iBook, and basically want to know how I can change the sound that plays when the iBook is switched on.
    Ive made a AIFF file that Id like to play when its booted up, but dont know what to do.

    If I'm not mistaken (and I might be) that sound is part of the OpenFirmware. As such it's not user editable.

      Baroque is right... it's the Mac equivilant of POST "beep" PCs make...

      The only thing you can do is mute it by muting the sound in OSX before shutdown.
