Gaming trouble with NTSC modded N64 & RGB Scart cable

Have you got your TV set to 'Progressive Scan' mode?

I find all signals appear better using this even non-progressive scan ones.

My Saurian modded N64 looks amazing on my Toshiba 28ZD26P in prog. scan.

Yep my TV is set for Prog Scan mode. But I didn't think the N64 utilised the channel since it's not capable of outputting in PS mode?

Just want to say for the record to avoid any confusion or doubt that I'm not doubting Saurs handywork since I know his work is of the highest quality

Perhaps the TV just enhances the flicker making it look severe - it's more noticeable when switched on then tends to die down a lot after 10mins or so.
