Does any version of Kunoicho have Japanese voice acting and english subtitles available as an option? I have the PAL version but the voice acting is driving me nuts.

PAL Shinobi voiceacting wrecks my head as well.
The US Version of Shinobi had english subs and jap voiceacting. I'd say its the same with Nighshade. -

It seems that most PAL games get stripped of all Japanese voicing and replaced with camp or amateurish voices

Can't see why they can't just leave Japanese voicing and give us various language subtitles. Should speed up the releases to Europe with a lot less hassle I would have thought, and far more original to bootComment

I never understood why they did that with the first Onimusha. The US version came out first, with a dual soundtrack. Ours came out 2nd, they changed the game but not the manual! So it says you can change the language, but you can't cos they stripped it out. It makes zero sense.Comment

My guess is it's either of two reasons:
1. European releases come in several languages other than English, whereas the US release doesn't. Therefore to physically fit all of the extra language sounds on the disc, they have to get rid of the Japanese voicing to make room. (My guess this is the most likely reason.)
2. They think that Europeans would prefer voicing in their own language, and won't like Japanese voicing to be left inComment
