Im on the verge of ordering one of these, but i just wanted to know peoples experiences with the? are they worth the money? are there any decent alternatives?

also where did you buy it from?

I had one, used it for a while, but ended up flogging it on eBay. I wouldnt class myself as a joystick nerd like some folk, but it just didnt feel right to me.

Its a shame, becasue the idea of having one stick that works across all formats s is an excellent one, and is much more convenient than having several arcade sticks taking up loads of space in my house

X-Arcade is a terrible, terrible stick. The stick itself is bat-shaped, which just doesn't feel right. Secondly, the stick base is circular, not square, which again, is terrible.

Then the buttons. Oh god the buttons. The dreadul American-style buttons that cave in but hardly move at all. And they're all in a straight line! Auuggghhh!

So no, don't get the X-Arcade. Buy the Tekken 4 or Soul Calibur 2 stick for the PS2 and use a convertor if you want it use it with other consoles.

Yep, go with two Hori sticks and converters instead. The XArcade is pretty shabby.

Thanks for the reply guys, what appealed to me about xarcade is that it work with mame without installing it or anything like that.

i want it for PC mainly, but i was going to get the PS2 and XBOX cables for tekken 4 and SC2. are the no other alternatives with the mame compatibily? those Hori sticks dont float my boat really
