    Is suikoden3 a D9 format game?

i've been using this "SWAP MAGIC" thing on my 39003 UK ps2 for some time now, though it's the cheap option to play imported games, most JAP and US games are running well with it.
the only game couldn't play so far was XENOSAGA US version. i thought it's becos of its D9(dual slayer DVD) format...

but unfortunately the SUIKODEN3 US version i just imported yesterday couldn't get started by SWAP MAGIC as well!
i thought the only 4 D9 format US games are: xenosaga, Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance, GT Concept Geneva & star ocean 3?

so is SUIKODEN3 also a D9? if not, why can't be started bySWAP MAGIC?
anyone know what sort of discs SWAP MAGIC can't support?
    thanks a bunch!

I don't think it's D9, no. I think it's only around 2 GB or something. Can't help you with the swap thing though, soz.

thanks there~ i don think it is either...
it can't be the disc's problem. i tried two different but both brandnew suikoden3 discs, they both get stuck in the very beginning, even no playstation2 logo appearing...

must be some kinda compatibility problem with SWAP MAGIC startup disc.
looks like mod-chipping PS2 is the only best way to play imported games...

anyway anyone else here using SWAP MAGIC as well? do u experience this this sort of troubles?

At the bottom of this page there's a list of games which are incompatible with swap magic:

As you can see, Suikoden 3 is one of them.
