Question about selling on an Xbox DVD kit

Probably a daft question this but I don't use my Region 1 Xbox DVD kit.

If was to sell it to someone would it work fine for them on their Xbox even though it's already been used?

Just want to make sure.

yes it will, aslong as they haven't had a R2 dvd kit in the xbox allready
