    SNES 50hz/60hz Switch

I heard that the switch for this has to be spesific kind or it won't be able to change the format on the fly. So the question is simple, do I need a ON-ON or ON-OFF-ON switch?

You need a single pole, double throw switch.

Yeah, it has to be a break-before-make switch - if you use a make-before-break, then you'll get a temporary short between 5 Volts and Ground, and you really don't want that!

AFAIK toggle switches are break-before-make - *some* slide switches aren't, but I think probably only older ones in general.

Would this kind of switch be ok? http://www.vekoy.com/product_info.ph...oducts_id=3338

You can't understand the Finnish but hopefully you can tell by the specs if it's suitable.

Well, it looks *exactly* like the ones I use - so I'd guess yes.

Another question, can a same type of switch be used with the lockout chip, or do I need a different type?
