Video game soundtracks - who the heck sells 'em?

    Evening all.

Of late, as I while away evenings in my video-game bereft room yearning for the glory days when I actually had a Playstation and something to plug it into, I have found myself playing the introductory music to MGS in my head.

I wondered, then, if anyone could recommend a decent online shop that sells a wide selection of game OSTs, as I'm having trouble finding a reputable one.

As always, any help would be much appreciated.

The glory days of 1997/8 and Nibelheim and HAVE AT YOU and omg how shiny is your mazda will again be mine!

    If only in sound....

These arnt dodgy bootlegs or Thai copies are they? Some of the prices seem a little too low to be true

      Zelda: OOT OST @ otaku.co.uk = ?30

      Zelda: OOT OST @ GKWorld = ?5

Edit: My Google research suggests they are all bootlegs.

http://www.gamemusic.com is a better bet than Synsoniq at the moment due to the weak dollar... Both companies come recommended tho.

If you know the catalogue numbers you can order Game OSTs from larger branches of Tower Records, Virgin and HMV...

Yes they are pirate CDs hence they being very cheap (although given that these CDs are sold for around 50p from source they are making a fair whack from even those cheap prices....)

Nope not to my knowledge they are originals from - http://gkworld.zoovy.com/ - I brought Gran Turismo OST (Japanese) from them for all under ?10 (Took about a week or so to arrive, well happy! ) Most online game music shop sold it for ?21+!!, Import games music is expensive in UK just like import games - cut the middleman out and get it over the atlantic instead and you still save!

That's because they are usually made of a high quality

                        Still

It's like buying a Sony tv for ?100 and finding out thats its actually full of Alba parts

Amazon UK sell a lot of OSTs. I bought the Final Fantasy 8 and 9 soundtracks from them and they were still sealed.

You can be guaranteed they're not bootlegs either

This shop has a small but very cheap selection of OSTs. REZ and JSR OSTs for under $10 each? Oh and they're definitley not bootlegs and they're fast as well.
