help with vga box and iiyama tft

just bought a logic 3 vga box (cost ?50 from eplay !)
it's this one

so i plugged my ps2 into it via the composite inputs of the box and hooked it up to the tft. but the screen comes up in black and white !


i.m running ntsc games, does this mean my tft doesn't support 60hz ??
it's a iiyama 17" prolite e431s

If its working, but in monochrome, it sounds like your monitor does 60Hz just fine, but the VGA converter doesn't understand NTSC. Your only hope is that it might cope a little better with S-Video, as I doubt it takes component.
