    PS2 VGA adaptors

Which of these VGA adaptors gives the best results?

I heard of the YPsPr one, but never saw the others. Does anyone have any recommendations?

YPsPr mode implies it can handle prog scan conversion, but the comments aren't clear.

There is the Blaze PS2 VGA adaptor which will give you a really good 640x480 vga picture for prog scan games, but only a handful of games support prog scan mode. For everything else you need to use a boot disk with the Blaze adaptor, which normally results in flickering. The vga boxes on playasia would give a better picture than that.

I've seen the Redant box and the picture quality is ok, but a little blurry. The vga passthrough is cool. Most vga boxes give a blurry picture unless you spend a fortune on a high quality de-interlacing though (converting the interlaced signal for a TV to a progressive scan/de-interlaced signal).

Which would you recommend between these two: (They are both Redant).

The YPsPr one is actually $10 cheaper. So should I go for the more expensive one?

I don't know about those boxes, I've not used them. Someone else here might have tho.

Its not clear from the sagestar description whether it supports prog scan or not. If not, I doubt there'd be much difference between the two.
