    DC Vga Problem

I recently bought a DC Vga cable and it works fine on my TFT at home, however when I bring it into work to play ( ) it wont work!

I get the following error message on the monitor:

    "Out of scan range"
    "15.7khz 59hz"

However this exact monitor plays GC games fine via VGA.

    What is going on?

The horizonal and vertical refresh rates seem a little low for 640*480 @ 60Hz so maybe the work display is a little more sensitive to less than ideal clock frequencies...

Thats a normal TV signal it's receiving, the DC isn't switching to vga mode.

Try making sure the vga box is plugged in properly, and that you haven't accidentally knocked the TV <-> VGA switch.

I knew Papercut would come to the rescue.

I knew this was the message I got when I played the GC before switching it to prog scan but couldnt work this out.

It was simply that the cable wasnt in properly when I turned it on, but when i did push it in the DC hadnt switched to VGA mode or something as you said, so I just needed to turn it off and on again!

              Cheers all!
