Missing DVDBO shipped items!? Please share your experiences!

again, it now seems that one of my DVDBO shippings (ninja gaiden) didn't make it! this is now the third time that a DVDBO item gets stolen or lost on a regular shipping!

who has experienced the same and how often did this already happen to you?

and, more importantly, has anyone ever got DVDBO to ship a new copy right away - free of charge of course? i don't want to wait another 7 weeks for the game!

Post can take between 5 days and 10 days mainly, but I did have 2 post coming in after 3 weeks.

Nothing you can do about it, apart from changing supplier

Based on my past experiences and what I've read from a number of others, I'd strongly recommend changing suppliers. videogamesplus.ca may be a little more expensive at times, but it's worth paying the extra for decent service.

My copy of Xenosaga never turned up.

So I waited the 8 week period that is required by them before they ship a new copy. After 8 weeks they sent out a new copy, and it arrived two weeks later.

So in total it took 10 weeks to get the game. Last time I'm ever using them again (VG+ all the way now ).

Yup, im still waiting for my copy of FF:CC from DVDBO. Next Wednesday will be the 8weeks gone so I can piss and moan at them then. Frankly after spending over ?2k with them in the previous year or 2, I would have expected better.

Nevermind, I have already sent them a snotty e-mail informing them that I shall be taking my custom elsewhere.

Think ill try that videogamesplus.ca place from now on.

I've had probs with Atlandtic DVD, ordered a game from them down in Australia, taken 1 month, 1 wk and 4 days to arrive... I should of received it within 2 weeks - but good thing about them is that items are tax free to UK.

I used to use dvdboxffice all the time for dvd's - they were generally ok, but then i had 4 or 5 packages go missing within the space of 4 months... they replaced them all eventually, but in the end they were more hassle than they were worth.
I was also buying loads of things from various other places around the same time and nothing else ever went missing, which led mt believe that someone in their warehouse was pocketing them

i had my Viewtiful Joe nabbed, had to wait 8 weeks as well, then another 2 weeks fot that to come. Anyway my last order with them will be Resident Evil outbreak. I've just started using VGPlus for the first time last week, ordered 3 GBA games and arrived within 4days.

Funnily enough was just talking about this with a mate who now uses videogamesplus.
I have ordered around 28 US Cube games through DVD BO and they have always turned up within 5 days of the US release, usually with some sort of pre-order goodie.
Guess im one of the lucky ones!

I used to use them all the time and never had any problems until just before Christmas when my vpy of Skies Of Arcadia on the Gamecube went missing.I had to wait 8 weeks and then another week after that.

They were helpful and never questioned that it had gone but the wait was ridiculous but understandable.

I have changed supplier to videogamesplus in the meantime and they are so much better and just as cheap,if not cheaper.

My copy of Metal Gear on the Cube was shipped within 45 minutes of ordering it and arrived 4 days later.

Cannot recommend them highly enough 8)

this was exactly my experiece too: my mgs:tt was shipped a few days after ninja gaiden was and it took 10 days to germany. and still no ninja gaiden as well!

ok, i must admit i had never faced any problems to get my copy in the end. but waiting 10+ weeks for a game that makes you wet your pants in anticipation is another story.

maybe i should give this VGplus shop a try!
