Unreal Championship - Xbox

Just saw this at Play.com and for ?9.99 you cant go wrong.

But I heared this game had lots of frame rate issues and a lot of people blew up a stink over it. Considering Splinter cell arrived on the classics range with additional maps does Unreal have the patch installed that fixed the slowdown? Or is their no other way to get the patch without downloading it?

I'm fairly sure there was a patch for UC that turned off anti-aliasing and so improved the frame-rate, yes. Google found this:

In a post made to the official Infogrames forums, J.P. Eekels, lead designer at Digital Extremes, said that the development team for Unreal Championship is currently working on a patch for the game that will fix a couple of key issues, ranging from various exploits such as moving outside map boundaries to technical problems like the game's frame rate. In addition, the development team will attempt to integrate better voice communication features. No time frame has been given for the release of the patch.

I presume this did actually come out, anyway.

I was aware that a patch came out for this title and a lot of people really thought it improved the game.

But sadly I dont have Broadbrand so cant download a patch. I was hopping that the "classics" re-release of Unreal Championship included the patch on the Disc.
