Marvel Vs Capcom 2 - (PAL) any good?

I'm thinking about picking up MVC2 from Play.com and I was wondering whether the PAL conversion was any good?

Borders don't bother me as I'm playing it on a big TV but a reduction in speed would.

If it's a terrible conversion I'll just get a Dreamcast instead.....

The PS2 vers has a 50/60hz select - don't have an Xbox, though i've heard it has the better version, as the PS2 version can get a bit pixelly at times. Plus it's a blue CD - something my PS2 has a bit of trouble with, dunno about anyone elses. Still a good game though - still havent unlocked all costumes and artwork yet.

I'm looking for the PS2 version. Is the PS2 version that bad, i.e worse than the PS2 PAL conversion of Capcom Vs SNK 2 ?

PS2 conversion has a full 60hz option so no problems.

In fact, 99% of Capcom's PAL conversions from the last 2 years are safe to buy.
