The Xbox LIVE headset adapter will NOT fit in the magicbox slot. So unless you use a xbox pad there's no trash talking for you. There is a converter that allows you to use PS2 pads and has a slot that fits the LIVE headset but i'm not sure what it's called sorry :/

i got the magicbox today and it is very good.
i bought it to use a ps2 pad to play cvs2 and it works very well.
there is no delay between pressing a button and the action occuring onscreen(although i want to test it further to make sure) and all buttons can be configured to where i normally have them on the ps2 pad.
i haven't tried dc pads/stick or saturn controllers yet.
i ordered from xboxmods whose service was exceptional.
i better get back to practising for friday. can't wait!
