Universal Soul Calibur II Arcade Stick ?

hi, i've been looking for an arcade stick for my xbox(for the emus) and saw this today-

it will work on all the current gen consoles which seems like a + to me as it would be good to have on for my cube aswell.
i've never heard of it before i saw it today.
so does anyone own one or know if it's anygood or not.

Oh I have this shelved somewhere. I'll see if I can try it out tomorrow and let you know (if someone else hasn't already).

I got it as a present (39 USD, 45 quid seems expensive) but since I already had a Hori one and no spare time I didn't really try it out yet. From what I recall now the stick was too loose and too small (just like the unit itself) but the buttons were quite good. Thought the cable could be put to use on a better stick at a later date (?) anyway, I'll let you know.

i thought that the whole thing looks small, as the box is like 50% the size of the hori sticks.

Sorry, no good news. I've tried it and have to say it's just plain uncomfortable. The response time is just off (butons and stick) and my left hand is partly resting on the unit and partly besides. The only redeeming feature is the cable but unless you have two/three copies of SCII it's pointless less you know how to integrate/mod it into a proper stick.

(That said, I know people who love their Hori sets and personally I find the buttons on those too sturdy. Some peoples on here hate the X-arcade stick while imo it's the most comfy I tried this gen. Damn this doesn't help does it ).

Wish I could've told it was brilliant but it has cheap build quality all over it (again apart from the cable ).

np, it looks too small anyway, and ?45 seem alot anyway.
i'll just get a SC2 hori stick for the cube, and find something for the xbox

Why not get Hori SC stick for gamecube and Playstation 2 and Magic box to use PS2 SC stick for XBOX and then you can play it on GC / XBOX / PS2

I got Magic box and it work fanstatic

thanks for that Legendary, i was thinking about getting a ps2 SC2 stick, but i read that you can't use arcade sticks with convertors? is this unture then?

i only want one on the xbox for mame and other emus. would i beable to do that?

only one i have heard of not working is the dreamcast 6 button stick with the magic box convertor

Yes you can as I have used it this morning and it work fine with

PACMAN, UN Squadron, R-Type, and Street Fighter Alpha (GBA)
