Right, I'm thinking about buying Ninja Gaiden, but I had a few questions, and I thought I ought to consult my gaming superiors. After all, you've played it, and I haven't.
First up, I am spectacularly bad at 3D fighters. I just can't do them. Most probably because I'm incapable of inputting complex move strings quickly. I just spaz out like the dyspraxoid I am. Ninja Gaiden has been accused of having a fair few similarities to 3D fighters, and since everybodies emphisis on the game thus far has been how fantastic the fighting is, I'm conluding that it's a fairly important part of the game.
So it's closeness to a 3D fighter is important in my decision to purchase.

Secondly, and perhaps slightly more seriously, can anybody give me any idea how much 'wear and tear' this game will cause on your thumb. Fairly recently, I was unfortunate enough to smash my thumb a fair bit... while it still works, it's never set right again, and the muscles have atrophied, and defied all attempts to bring them back properly.
It's my 'button' thumb.
How 'intense' is this game... if it's about the level of something like Devil May Cry (sorry), then I can just about cope with it... if it's more along the lines of Rocky, I almost certainly can't, as 15 minutes of that has me switching off in pain.
---
I apologise for my excess verbosity.
It's late.
