    xbox to p.c connection help

    ive been having problems connecting my xbox to my p.c. i use a PEAK broadband router and have all 4 ports used. i have a chipped xbox with evo x dashboard. my settings on the settings in evo x are

    [[[[NETWORK]]]]

    setup network : yes
    use static ip : no
    IP : 192.168.0.3
    subnetmask : 255.255.255.0
    default gateway : 192.168.0.1
    dns :0.0.0.0
    dns :0.0.0.0

    [[[[FTP]]]]

    enable : yes
    password : xbox
    in game reset : yes

    there my settings. after about 2 hours of work they eventually worked. but then i logged on using FLASHFXP and typed in the ip it came up with on my EVO X dashboard(192.168.1.4) and user: xbox and pass : xbox and it didnt work. i tryed SMART FTP and its the same problem??

    it comes up with

    THEN IT WILL JUST SAY CONNECTION FAILED ETC ETC.

    HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MUST APPRICIATED.

    For starters, the EvoX FTP server doesn't support passive mode (aka PASV mode). Try disabling passive mode in your client's options.

      I`m a bit new at this but if his ip ends 03 should the ip not end 02 instead of 01.
      I had all sorts of problems setting up a local area connection for fxp

            If anyone else is having problems like the one above and stumbles upon this thread in a search, then:

            I used Casually Hardcore's Walkthrough when I was copying roms across etc. It was very easy to follow and accurate, and I had no problems!

            Give them a look if you are stuck!
