Weird IE Problem

Only recently has IE started crashing everytime I click on a link that wants to open a new browser window. Somebody, somewhere said that Zone Alarm firewall causes this to happen and since I had started using it I thought that if I uninstall it, it would sort my problem. But it doesn't. Anyone know why this might be, it's driving me mad! ft:

tried reseting ie to default settings ? or use a decent browser like mozilla firefox

I would suggest you went to Windows Update and install the latest IE fixes...but of course that only works with Internet Explorer and not Firefox or anything else

If there's a copy of IE on a CD anywhere, you could try installing it from that?
