How would I be expected to pay for a Q gameboy player?

    Howdy everyone!
Just a quick question really.. I've got it in my head to try and purchase a gameboy player for my Panasonic Q - I know they're about as rare as chicken teef sooooo.. was kinda wondering how much people reckon I would be likely to pay to get meself one?

In fact.. if anyone might also know where I can get one I would be extremely grateful and probably build a little shrine in your honour and worship it n everything!

Ebay really is your only bet nowadays..

is it only the shape of the player that is different or is the connector different?
if it's just the shape then why not mod a normal one to fit on to the Q?
      can't be that hard surley?

You have to cut the legs off your Q to fit a normal one on it. I doubt you want to do that, so buy another GC+GB player pack for about ?100, instead of paying ?150 for a Q player.

or you could cut holes into the player to make it fit?

You'd probably end up busting the plastic casing and ****ing it up if you did that.

                Alternatively buy this .

It will only play GBA games but it's a damn sight cheaper, works flawlessly with all GBA games on my Panasonic Q and the borders are comparable to those on the official player (don't be misled by screenshots on the official site).

I got the Q Gameboy Player from Play-Asia and that went fine...
But I pre-ordered it back then

Hmmm... to think I sold mine to a certain forumite for ?55 when it first came out

But to be honest it makes your Q look like **** and for what it's worth I ended up buying a GB Player to sit under my Plat GC for a lot less

But yea... they are hard to get hold of now and a mate of mine in the US just sold his for over ?150.

Good luck finding a 'reasonably' priced Q GB Player!

?150, didn't realise they were that pricey play-asia.com also do a lead to connect your GBA to scart port on your TV, it's not expensive but requires you opening up your GBA case unfortunately.

PS. Do you want to add the word "much" to your subject title to make it a bit clearer

Just go for GC / GBA Package from play-asia.com as you will have more colours to pick in Japan
