    gamecube -jap n pal save

just making sure. is it true that i shouldnt save the two formats on the same memory card?

i think i remember somewhere that saving jap saves on card with pal saves will have an unwanted effect. is that true??

Yeah, I found out the hard way that it's best to have a dedicated memory card for Freeloader use...
I lost my Mario Golf file after using my (Japanese format) memory card on a mate's PAL machine

I'm gonna assume that you don't actually have a Japanese machine and are using Freeloader for Four Swords+?

You'll be fine with this but any game that requires a Japanese formatted card will complain about the English card and attempt a format.

You can keep some games on an English card but the two formats are not compatible (e.g. a Japanese formatted card will not work in an English machine and vice versa). There are conversion utils available out there, given a USB memory card or a copy of PSO
