Is it possible to access the internet using a dreamcast using a different ISP than the one provided?

Yes but you need Dreamkey Version 3 that came with PSO v.2 and as a mail away.

I reccomend using the latest version of XDP standalone, although you can use any browser to access the internet with your own ISP. If they don't allow you to change the settings within the program ie. early versions of Dream Key then you can use http://mc.pp.se/dc/fisa.html to change the ISP.

Just download XDP from the site I mentioned then burn it to CD using DiscJuggler and then put it in your Dreamcast. Its as simple as that
