Bios update help

Need help updating my Toshiba laptop bios, Downloaded the Bios but it needs a floppy to extract on to then boot up ft: . Problem is that laptop does not come with a floppy drive and I am to cheap to buy a USB drive.

Boot from a CDRW maybe?

If you put all the files that would be on a floppy disc for boot on a CD and make that a bootable CDRW, would that work?
