    RGB Cable for a PS2

Can anyone recommend me somewhere I can get a proper RGB Scart Cable for a PS2 for a reasonable price. I have one already for my PS2 (it came with a DVD Advantage kit a couple of years ago with the Region X and a remote control for ?14!! Bargain!) but I want one for my friends kid as a gift.

I purchased one on Ebay and although it says RGB Scart on the packaging, I just plugged it in to test and it most certainly isnt RGB!!! (i should have guessed for ?6 inc delivery!!)

    Pointers would be appreciated!! Thanks!

Altho I think your thread should be in the Q&A Forum.

I recently got a Blaze one from my local Gamestation, its lovely looking with clear blue plugs, it's got the guncon and stereo leads etc, and it's definately RGB (it smelt funny for a bit though, funny rubbery plastic smell)

It hasn't got the composite/rgb switch on though, but for ?4.99 it's a bargain.

Thanks - think I'll order up the Blaze one. Has anyone tried it with the multi-region DVD movie playback kits? Any recommendations on either Blaze or Datel? The Blaze disc doesnt appear to need any 'cart' things like the Datel 'DVD Region X' thing?

I have a blaze PSone cable. Works great.
Except I couldn't find a link for it.

Never tried the multi region thing.
I'd imagine the mem card one would me more convenient tho.

Does the official Sony component cable do RGB?

you can output RGB via the component cables, but your TV must be able to handle it. Most CRTs expect a YUV signal, so you'll get a pink toned picture, at least thats what I got when I switched to component cable for mine before I switched it to YUV.

The Monster RGB cable is also very good, but again not cheap.
