PAL X-Boxes

Am i right in thinking that there are only 3 types of PAL X-Box?
(black,green and crystal)-im pretty sure i am.
If any one knows of anymore could you let me know.

Those are the three that have gone on sale, yes. I suppose you could probably count the smokey-grey devkit case, and obviously several people have done after-market modifications (lights, stickers, and so on).

A particularly perverse person could take one of the smoke-grey, blue or white JPN Boxes and switch the insides with a PAL machine for that matter.

What do you mean? As far as I know and on Ebay, they say that they only made 5000 in the whole of Europe but I really doubt this because they would have sold out of 5000 by now.

All people that sell theirs on Ebay say that 5000 ONLY have ever been made. They ALL state how rare it is but I doubt it is 500 like I said earlier.

Official figures have never been released for either the green or Crystal Xbox's.

Although I did hear that the Crystal ones were released in lower numbers than the green

IIRC the Green ones sold out quite quickly on release.
