    Warm PSU question?

I have a double wall socket in the room in have my Pc in.
The PC has a 4 way in one plug, and the TV has a 4 way in the other.

The 4 way for the TV isn't really that easy to get at to unplug stuff etc.

    So my question is:
I have a PSone psu plugged in at all times (even when i'm not using it).
I've noticed that it is warm, but not hot.
Will this harm the psu, and is it using much electric by being plugged in while the psone is turned off?

It's OK for the PSU to be warm, it's a by-product of the transformer doing its thing.

It's an idea to unplug the PSU if you are not going to be using it for long periods of time as it's still running and if it shorts it could burn your house down (okay it probably won't but there is always the risk and it saves energy too).
